Dear Information Security starters,

Don’t aim to clear a certification. You have been doing that for ages. I can see the whole idea of justifying yourself and your capability by clearing the certifications. However, you need to understand the ladder. Entry level certificates introduce you to the world. They are the start, not the end of the journey.

If you are just doing it for the sake of clearing an exam, I would suggest don’t do it. coz you will learn nothing besides that specific setting which will help you clear the exam.

Learn what you want to learn, experiment to your heart’s content. Once you have learned, then give exam as a justification /validation to your efforts, not the other way round.

Not having a cert proves nothing, just like having the cert only proves that you could solve the exact set of problems posed to you at that point in time. Doesn’t mean you will handle real-life situations.
