Respect them well enough that you dont hold grudge if they want to leave.
Key relative point here for me is an old saying from the Indian Context
“कर्म करो और फल की चिंता मत करो”
Focus on doing good with yourself and with others not coz they deserve or you want something from them but coz you don’t want to do it any other way.
