So now if i subscribe to any newsletter it will be listed publicaly. I get the rational of it if this was done with right intents. LinkedIn has been ramming the newsletter subscription via the same accept connection option to force users to subscribe to newsletters by people now they want it to go be made public. Well to be honest this is yet another example of few making choices for everyone with no recourse to change the override the decision.
More reasons why decentralised networks should start taking more prominence and people should be pushing for more ownership of their own data (self-hosting, fediverse, indieweb are all part of that schema). And I am not talking about cryptocurrency or blockchain, decentralisation has existed far before that on web.
