While everyone has their own opinions on the usage of AI in communication, I for one feel this should be welcomed. Let me clarify, I am specifically talking about large or small language model tools like ChatGPT.
I would rather encourage people to use them and share the full prompt and conversation which resulted in the message. Transparency in how we use these tools can foster trust and a better understanding of AI’s role in our communications.
Interfaces like ChatGPT are making us better at explaining what we want. This is a good step in the right direction. Our conversations are often messy, leading to misunderstandings and complications in human interactions.
So, I believe large language models (LLMs) should not only be encouraged for use but also their usage should be shared with pride rather than kept hidden.
