IT world runs on hypes, Earlier, hype cycles lasted years or months, now they are a week, sometimes just a few days. The weekend’s hype was agent generated wiki blueprint by Karpathy. So by now, half the online world have a second brain, note graph, retrieval pipeline, and the feeling of becoming much smarter over the weekend.

What always amuses me is that people spend a lot of time building systems that look like thinking, and much less time showing whether those systems helped them think better, decide better, or do better work after some duration.

Maybe the real addiction is not productivity. Maybe it is the dopamine hit of looking productive. To be fair, I probably stand dangerously close to the same trap with some of my own projects. Then again, I would not be a self-proclaimed thought leader if I did not strike a thinking pose and make this post :D
